The second filter is consultation. The best barbers in Summerlin will spend 30-60 seconds talking to you before the cape comes on. They'll ask about your routine, your last cut, and what you actually want to look like — not just dive into the clippers. If you sit down and the chair starts moving without a real conversation, that's your sign.
The third filter is the shop itself. Sanitation, music, lighting, and pace all tell you everything you need to know. A clean, focused, on-time shop is run by people who care. A chaotic shop with no system is a shop that will eventually disappoint you.
